Common Mistakes to Avoid

• Submitting any real word that comes to mind. Only the answers chosen for that puzzle are accepted; a good dictionary word that is not on the hidden list is rejected.
• Retyping a word you have already found. Duplicates come back with an ’already found’ message, so scan the chips of found words before you waste a submission.
• Forgetting that short words count. Three-letter finds are usually the easiest available, and every hidden answer must be discovered, so skipping them leaves the puzzle incomplete.
• Submitting a word shorter than three letters. Two-letter words are never accepted, so do not waste a turn on IT or TO even when the tiles hold those letters.
• Staring at the same arrangement until your eyes glaze over. The Shuffle button reorders the tiles without changing which answers exist, and a fresh layout often reveals a missing pairing.

Try the most frequent letters: E, A, R, I, O, T, N, S.
