Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Filling the centre early — blocks placed in the middle can be surrounded and never form a line, while the edges stay the easiest rows and columns to finish.
- Dropping the first block that fits without checking the other two — one placement can seal the space the rest of the trio needed, and the game ends when all three are stuck.
- Forgetting to rotate — every block can be turned with the Rotate button or the R key, and the orientation that fits is often the one you are not looking at.
- Leaving a lone empty cell in the middle of the board: the smallest piece offered is three squares, so an isolated single gap can never be filled and quietly shrinks your space.
